Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District election

The unofficial results of the MRGCD Board of Directors election held June 7, are in and two new directors will be sworn in with one director retaining his seat.

Using the paper ballot system adopted by the MRGCD, all 41 polling boxes were counted by 9 p.m. and results were posted. Still to be qualified and counted are the provisional ballots.

Below are the unofficial vote totals for each candidate.

Again, these vote counts are unofficial.
Provisional ballots were to have been qualified Thursday, June 9, and the votes canvassed Friday.
New board members will be sworn in at the regular MRGCD board of directors meeting Monday, June 13, at 3 p.m. in the Diego Abeita Board Room at the MRGCD offices.
