JARAMILLO – Isabel Jaramillo,  57, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Socorro, NM on January 28, 1955, to Nestor and Victoria (Gonzales) Chavez. “Villa”was a lifelong resident of Socorro. She enjoyed watching all sports, basketball, baseball, and football but she was especially fond of the Socorro Warriors and loved to watch and cheer on her grandkids. Her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy and enjoyed nothing more than to be surrounded by her family at all times. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Raymond Chavez, her son, Lawrence P Jaramillo, and her infant daughter, Mary Jaramillo. “Villa” is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Antonio Jaramillo; her devoted children,Victoria Saldivar and husband, Federico;Tony Jaramillo and wife, Julie; and Johnny Joe Jaramillo and Candice Baldonado; her brothers, Richard Chavez and wife Angela; Nestor Chavez Jr. and wife Jamie; and Tony Soliz; her sister, Cecelia Robles and husband Pedro; nine loving grandchildren, Orion; Jeffery; Gene; Mariah; Johnny Joe Jr.; Antonio IV; Alexis; Lawrence; and Desirae; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members. A Rosary was recited on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 7:00 pm at the San Miguel Catholic Church. A Communion Service was held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10:00 am also at the San Miguel Catholic Church with Deacon Miguel Ybarra. Interment took place in the Lemitar Cemetery. Pallbearers were Orion Jaramillo, Jeffery Jaramillo, Gene Jaramillo, Johnny Jaramillo Jr., Kenny Sanchez, and Pete Lopez. Honorary pallbearers were Mariah Jaramillo, Antonio Jaramillo, Alexis Saldivar, Lawrence Saldivar, and Desirae Jaramillo. HEATH – Golda Mae Heath, 72, passed away at Socorro General Hospital in Socorro, NM on February 22, 2012. She was born June 7, 1939 in Butte, NE. Golda married Nate Heath on November 23, 1963 in Butte, NE. They had three children. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion (Jack) Vaughn Jordan and Emily (Jane) Counts Jordan, her brothers, Warren (Tuff) Gerald Jordan, Bill Jordan, sister, Lois Weber, son, Jerry Allen Heath, daughter, Deborah Lynne Heath, and great grandsons, Aries Heath and Miguel Jaunito Gonzales Jr. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Jane Sanchez; grandsons Joseph M. Padilla, Christopher N. Heath and Henry A. Padilla; granddaughters; Victoria Nicole Romero and Desiree Cassandra Romero; great grandsons; Christopher N. Heath II and Joseph M. Padilla III; great granddaughter Marisol Neveah Reyna. She was an active member of the Latter Day Saints Church. A memorial service will be held at the Latter Day Saints Church in Socorro, NM on March 24, 2012 beginning at 11:00 a.m.

PERALTA – Placido B. Peralta, age 85, a resident of Belen, NM and formerly of Magdalena, NM peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Grants, NM for many years. Placido was born to the late Vicente and Crucita Baca Peralta in 1926 in Santa Rita, (Riley) NM. He worked in Grants working many jobs and retiring from A-X Propane after several years of excellent service. Placido was also a rancher working for several ranches throughout the area. He was preceded in death one month and eight days by his beloved wife, Deluvina; infant daughter, Audelia Peralta and sister, Beneranda (Bennie) Uranga. Placido is survived by his four children, Vincent and wife, Cathy Peralta, James (Ismael) and wife, Liz Peralta, Josie and husband, Juan Julian and Martha and husband, Terry Rose; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four siblings sister, Juanita Peralta, brothers, Salomon and wife, Velma Peralta and Ermiño Peralta and sister, Mary Driggers. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 23, at 5:30 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena on Saturday, March 24, at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Magdalena Community Cemetery.
