WARK – John G. Wark, 65, a resident of Truth or Consequences, N.M., passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. He was born on July 17, 1947 in Logan, Utah to John William and Gale (Geddes) Wark. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was 100% disabled which was service connected. He was an outstanding teacher and a College Professor at Utah State University, Weber State in Utah and Western State College in Gunnison, Colo. He was also a life member of the DAV in Socorro. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jennifer C. Wark of T or C, NM; brother, David G. Wark of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Cindy Berg (Dean), of Arizona; and step-mother, Marcella Wark, of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Gale Wark; and by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rod and Peggy Cardwell, of Socorro, NM. Cremation has taken place and he will be inurned at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery on Monday, August 13, 2012, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by Kirikos Family Funeral Home, Inc. & Sierra Crematory, LLC, 303 N.
