Lieutenant Gov. Sanchez in Socorro to answer questions Thursday
Lieutenant Gov. John Sanchez will be passing through town to visit with citizens during his series of statewide mobile office days. Over the next several months, Sanchez and his staff will be traveling across the state and making stops in various cities and towns.
At each stop, Sanchez will be available to personally meet with constituents, and his staff will be prepared to provide assistance with any issues related to state government.
“As Lieutenant Governor and the state’s ombudsman, I am committed to insuring that our communities statewide have access to their elected officials,” Sanchez said. “I feel strongly that the citizens of New Mexico should not have to travel to Santa Fe to have their concerns directly addressed. Therefore, I am looking forward to traveling the state with my staff to bring the Office of the Lieutenant Governor directly to them.”
Sanchez will be in Socorro from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at City Council Chambers, 111 School of Mines Road to meet with citizens.
