FOARD – John H. Foard, 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love leaving and is now surrounded by love forever on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. He was born in Hardin, Mont. on Dec. 26, 1924, to Arthur and Vera Foard. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. John is survived by his wife, Barbara, of the family home; his sisters Reatha Pack and husband, Bud, of Rapid City, S.D., and Regina Williams, of Laramie, Wyo.; his daughters, Elena Womack and husband, Ed ,of Elk City, Okla., and Colleen Grayson and husband, Steve, Collette Foard and husband, Michael Otero and his son, and Kenny Milligan and wife, Kim, all of Magdalena; his grandchildren  Robin Womack, Phillip Grayson, Denise Grayson, J.T. Milligan, Ryan Milligan and Bryce Milligan; his loving nieces and nephews; and many close friends. John served in the U.S. Army during World War II under General Patton. He came to New Mexico in the mid 1940’s. John worked for the H.C. Badger Co. on several ranches until he went to work as a government trapper in 1963. He retired in 1989 after 26 years of service. John had a love for music; he was an accomplished musician who played for his first dance at age 5. He was the New Mexico State fiddle champion in 1976. John also loved working with leather, building saddles and boots for several people. He had a special way about him. He was always eager to share his talents and knowledge with family and friends. His greatest joy was his family, his children and, especially, his grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Magdalena Schools fine arts building. Interment will follow in the Magdalena Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Milligan, Collette Foard, Kenny Milligan, Steve Grayson, Michael Otero and Courtney Borman. Honorary pallbearers are Robin Womack, Phillip Grayson, Denise Grayson, J.T. Milligan, Bryce Milligan and Claudie Foard. TRUJILLO – James Anthony Trujillo, 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Socorro on Aug. 6, 1958, to Antonio J. and Eva E. (Gomez) Trujillo. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Eva, and his brother Leroy. James was a lifelong resident of Magdalena. He graduated with the class 1977. James was a Cowboy. He was a member of the Wild Bunch Ranch Rodeo. He was a hard working man and lead a simple life. Above all he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. James is survived by his father, Antonio J. Trujillo; his loving wife of 21 years, Vida Trujillo; his children, Heather Orozco, Kali Orozco, Cord Trujillo, West Trujillo and wife, Destri, and Michael Erwin; his grandchildren, Andy Otero, Isaiah Otero, Felicity Otero, Chance Michael Stevens, Ryder Orozco-Sanchez, and one on the way; his brother, Patrick Trujillo; his sisters, Marcella Peralta and husband, Kenneth  and Denise Pino and husband, Adrian; his sister-in-law, Juanita Trujillo; and many other loving family members and close friends. A Holy Rosary was recited Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with a communion service to followed at 10:30 a.m with Deacon Nick Keller officiating. Following cremation, interment will be held at the Trujillo Ranch at a later date. Pallbearers will be Rick Pierson, Si Benjamin, Lee Henderson, Jerry Nye, Cecil Rosales and Brad Brunson. PERALTA – Maria A. “Lola”Peralta, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. She was born in Socorro, on Nov. 10, 1921, to John and Clara (Morris) Peralta. Lola enjoyed working in her flower garden and especially loved working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed spending her time watching CNN and the Religious Channel. Lola was a member of the San Miguel Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Peralta, Dolores Peralta, Henry Peralta, Teofilo Peralta and Manuel Pino; and her sisters Isabel Gonzales and Gertrude Gonzales. Lola is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A holy rosary was recited on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at 7 p.m. at  Daniels Family Funeral Services – Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield, Socorro. A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at 9 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro with Father Andrew Pavlak as celebrant. Interment took place in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tommy O. Gonzales, Salomon Gonzales, Frank Fernandez, Frank Fernandez III, Pete Livingston and Gilbert Peralta. McKEE – Jeannette M. McKee, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Socorro. She was born in St. Paul, Minn. on Jan. 6, 1917, to Olaf Arthur and Mary (Berke) Hervin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Dr. Jack McKee; three brothers; and one sister. Jeannette was a resident of Socorro for many years. She was a proud United States Marine veteran. Jeannette was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church in Socorro. She loved music and sang with Las Cantantes and was a member of the church choir. Jeanette loved to shop. She enjoyed writing and for years, she and her husband wrote the church bulletin. Above all, Jeannette was a devoted caregiver and homemaker for her husband. Jeannette is survived by her sister Eleanor Atkins, of San Diego, Calif.; her nieces and nephews; and many close friends here in Socorro. As were Jeanette’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
