ARAGON – Lorenzo M. Aragon, 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2013, with his loving family at his side. He was born in Horse Springs on April 17, 1957, to Amado and Josephine (Rael) Aragon. He was preceded in death by his father Amado; his brothers Frank and Ricky Aragon; his sister Mary Lou Gonzales; and his beloved children Naomi and Lorenzo Aragon Jr. Lorenzo was a lifelong resident of Horse Springs. He was a hard working man. He ranched all of his life and loved it. Lorenzo truly enjoyed the simple things in life. He was also a logger, and he enjoyed hunting and riding horses. Above all, Lorenzo was a devoted family man of strong hands but a gentle touch.With a golden heart he loved and adored his wife, his children, his grandchildren and his entire family. Lorenzo touched the lives of many people and always kept his family values close at heart. Lorenzo is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Amalia Aragon, of Horse Springs; his devoted daughter Keona Aragon; his mother Josephine; his brother Donaciano Aragon; his sisters Margie Mendez and Luciana Gutierrez; and many other loving family members and close friends. Lorenzo also enjoyed and adored his grandchildren Shanyah Delgado and Naomi Saavedra. SENN – Raymond L. Senn, 92, passed away peacefully Friday, March 1, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicago on Nov. 8, 1920, to Samuel L. and Sophia (Silverstein) Senesky. Ray served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged as a 1st lieutenant in 1946. He served in the Army Reserves and retired in 1980 as a lieutenant colonel. He attended New Mexico Tech in Socorro and graduated in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts in mining engineering. He worked as a mining engineer and land surveyor and was in the first group of professional engineers and land surveyors to be registered in the state of New Mexico. Over his long career of civil service, Ray was a city engineer and city clerk for the city of Socorro and land surveyor for Socorro County. He was a private pilot and loved old cars. Among his many talents were singing and playing the violin. At one time he was the co-owner of the Palomino Motel in Socorro along with his dear friend and partner, Joe Gallagher. Ray loved to play golf and most importantly he treasured spending time with his family. Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters Sylvia Herschenson and Marian Fellion. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Frances (Eppele) Senn; his six children: Stephen T. Senn and wife, Shirley, Cynthia E. Senn, Samuel J. Senn and wife, Jane, Randolph B. Senn and wife, Prescilla, David M. Senn and wife, Kerry, and Russell S. Senn; grandchildren: Rachel Trujillo, Victoria Trujillo, Matthew T. Senn, Anne C. Senn, Raymond S. Senn, Christopher M. Senn, Amanda J. Senn, Bryan A. Senn and Jennifer Senn; and great-grandchildren Audrey Griego, Love Prema Trujillo-Murphy, and Xavier Senn-DeCottle. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2012, at 11:15 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A memorial celebrating Ray’s life will be held at a later date to be announced. GARCIA – Julia M. Garcia, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Socorro on Sept. 16, 1934, to Justo and Monica Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Paublo Martinez; and her beloved son Rudy Sanchez. Julia was also widowed by her husbands Andy Sanchez in 1975 and Julian Garcia in 1991. Julia was a lifelong resident of Socorro; in fact, her family has resided in and owned the first former courthouse built in the community in 1945. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Julia loved her morning cup of coffee and enjoyed going to yard sales on the weekends. On occasion Julia also enjoyed visiting the casinos. She loved sitting in her backyard watching and feeding the birds that visited. She especially liked hummingbirds and doves. Since her children were very young, it has been a favorite pastime to gather around the television on Monday evenings and watch “Monday Night RAW.” Julia liked The Rock. Julia is survived by her devoted children Della Sanchez, Mike Sanchez and wife, Cecilia, Esther Thompson and husband, Jim, Patricia North and husband, Robert, Jenny Derryberry and husband, Thurman,  and Andrew J. Sanchez; her 12 loving grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and close friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on a later date. PARKER – Baby Christina Anita Parker went home to be an angel with our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 1, 2013. Baby Christina was born on Dec. 11, 2012. She is survived by her loving parents Matthew L Parker and Joannie J. Ganadonegro, of Magdalena; her maternal grandparents Leroy Ganadonegro and Frances Monte; and her paternal grandmother Mary Ellen Chavez. Christina will also be greatly missed by her brothers A.J. Pino and Matthew L. Parker Jr.; her sister  Alanis Pino; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents; her paternal grandfather Michael Parker; and her cousin Baby Vin Secatero. A Mass of the Angels will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena. Interment will be held in the Magdalena Cemetery. Pallbearers are A.J.
