New Mexico band to release first full length CD with an event in Magdelena
Bartender 4 Mayor is releasing its first full-length CD May 10 at the Golden Spur Saloon in Magdelena where the band will be playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. CDs and T-shirts will be available at that time for purchase.
The band has been together just over two years and is currently on the move. They played over 100 shows in 2012 and are looking forward to 2013 to be bigger and better with the release of their first full CD featuring the entire band.
The music for the album, "Drifter," was written by bandmember Brian Marshall, some with his co-writer Jeremiah Lyle.
Each member of the band has added their own flavor to the songs.
Bartender 4 Mayor music is described as outlaw country and a little southern rock.
"We are really excited," said the band's manager Jennifer Wunderlich. "It's going to be a cool event."
