Journey of Hope meanders through Socorro
On July 2, 36 cyclists who started in Los Angeles will stop for a visit in Socorro as part of their trek across the country with the Journey of Hope. Socorro’s Tresco Inc. will host the group with a welcome ceremony on the plaza at 4 p.m. Following the ceremony, the cyclists will provide information about the abilities of people with disabilities. The public is encouraged to welcome the cyclists to the community.
