Tienda de Segunda Thrifty, 400 Spring St., accepts donations of furniture, clothing, kitchen appliances and more. Thrifty cannot accept broken or dirty furniture, and has no facilities to wash clothing so donations need to be clean. All workers are volunteers, and sales revenues are donated to senior programs in Socorro County. The store is open noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
