GERMAIN — Clara Gertrude S. Germain, age 95, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. She was born in Watertown, N.Y., on Nov. 18, 1917. She was a member of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Mission in Datil.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and only sister, as well as her husband of 49 years, Gabriel Germain, while living in Peralta, where she continued to live until she moved to Datil in September 1996. While living in Datil, she volunteered as a senior companion, making many new friends — both people and animals.
She is survived by two sons, Tom Germain, of Watertown, and Charles and wife, Patricia, of Datil; seven grandchildren, Michele V. Germain, of USS Nimitz, Tom, of Lakeland, Fla., Patrick and wife, Kathie, of Peralta, John and wife, Debi, of Mesa, Ariz., Martin, of Mesa, Michael and wife, Gerda, of Chester, Va., and Peter and wife, Nichole, of Gloucester, Va.; 11 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date. Donations may be made to Ride 2 Recovery, for wounded veterans.

GODFREY — Kenneth Jason Godfrey, 41, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, in Albuquerque. He was born on Feb. 19, 1972, in Socorro to Sandra Lee Murphy Caswell and Kenneth Michael Godfrey. He served in the United States Army and worked at Cardinal Health in Albuquerque. He was an entrepreneur of several of his own businesses. He loved his family, cats and sky diving, and wanted to be a pilot.
He is survived by his mother; sister Amber Lynn Mills Stetson and husband, Scott, and their children Faith Miranda, Scott Allen “Manly” Jr. and Ramon; loving dad James Robert Mills and wife, Vivian; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends who loved him dearly.
Services will be Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 12 Thomas Road, Los Lunas, NM 87031 with Pastor Erwin De Graaff officiating.
