Socorro put five more points on the board and answered with seven of their own. Socorro started showing signs of life as Berger and Pyke were put on the line again, and made one of two free throws each. Berger grabbed a rebound from Pyke’s free throw and dished it to Aracely Alderete for a quick two. The score was 27 – 34 Silver.

Socorro was back on the line early in the fourth quarter, adding another two points. A big drive to the hole by Berger scored her the bucket, and she made the bonus but Silver made six more, including a three-pointer that gave them a nine point lead 34 – 43. Maria Alderete scored the last six points for the Lady Warriors from a drive of her own, an assist from Pyke, and on a steal for a full court drive to the basket, but it wasn’t enough.
