FLORES – Elicia “Alice”  Lorine Flores, 67, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Albuquerque, N.M. She was born in Socorro, N.M. on April 6, 1947, to Pilar and Petra (Cordova) Martinez. Alice grew up in Socorro and graduated from Socorro High School in 1965. Alice lived most of her life in Socorro except for living a few years in Cheyenne, WY. She was employed by Tripp’s Jewelry manufacturing for 25 years and retired in 2009. Alice was a very caring and loving person and enjoyed helping people out in any way she could. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a good cook and enjoyed visiting with people. Alice will be greatly missed by all of those that knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Herrera and her husband, Rick; her son, John Flores; her brother, Orlando Martinez and his wife, Genevieve; grandchildren, Brenna Torres, Randi Herrera, Maribel Flores, Damien Reyna and Zavier Reyna; step-sister, Lucy Baca and her husband, Albert; and step-mom, Frances Martinez. Rosary was recited on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real with Mass of Resurrection celebrated after. Celebrant was Father Flavio Santillanes. SALAZAR – Joe Richard “Dickie” Salazar, 64, passed away in Phoenix, Ariz. on Jan. 18, 2014, wife, Christine Margaret Salazar, 58, lost her brave fight with cancer on June 07, 2014. Richard and Christine are survived by Richard’s mother Deloypa Salazar, Christine’s mother Mary Helen Chavez; their children; Victor Savedra, Joe Richard “Richie” Salazar Jr., Erik Salazar and Patricia Janelle Salazar; grandchildren, Chucky, Adrian, Jomathan, Victor Dale, Christian, Josephine, Jazmine, Surprize, Jacob and Joe Anthony; Richards’ brother, Rudy Salazar and sister, Natti Gonzales and husband, Connie; Christine’s sister Susan Savedra and brother, Gilbert Savedra; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friend who they left with many fond memories. Services will be held Friday, June 27 at San Miguel Church with the Rosary to begin at 9 a.m. and Mass to follow. Burial will be at San Miguel Cemetary following services.

SESSIONS – Conrad Sessions, 53, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home. He was born in Socorro, N.M. on Aug. 7, 1960 to Russell Lowell and Nica B. (Sedillo) Sessions. He was a lifelong resident of Socorro. He was affectionately known as “Rusty” and to his brothers, “Vern.” He enjoyed horror movies and was an avid video gamer. Rusty loved to dance. He had the biggest heart and never met a stranger. Rusty loved his many puppies. “Simba” and “Chuck” were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Conrad is survived by his loving brothers, Steven Griego; and Gary Scott Sessions and wife, Rosario; his devoted brother and sister in law, best friends, and caretakers, Chris and Mary Sessions; niece Angie; nephew, Little Steve; and his dear friends, Lonnie, Rita, and little Lonnie Apodaca.
