On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, the world lost a wonderful man named Samuel Jojola.
He was born in San Antonito, New Mexico, and lived most of his life in the Socorro area.
Those that knew Sam would agree that he lived life on his terms and by his own rules. He was strong, kind and generous. Sam had a keen sense of perspective on life and people. Sam and his morning coffee buddies would solve all the world’s problems in one hour! He was wise and full of life experiences; he always knew the right thing to say and was easy to talk to. Sam was a pillar of the community. He owned every kind of business from bowling alleys, bars and beauty shops, but was most known for Sammy's Paint and Body. Sam loved people and always saw the best in them. Sam and Alice loved traveling to the most rural places to experience the culture and threw big parties with horses, buggies and Santa Clause! Sam’s laugh and love for life will live in our hearts forever.
Sam is preceded in death by his wife, Alice, and two sons, Sam Jr and Kenny.
He is survived by many loved ones.
