Wednesday, May 14, 2008 Herrman and Appel plan a June wedding ceremony in bride's hometown in KansasJessica Herrman and Steve Appel have announced their plans to marry. The bride is the daughter of Alice and Frank Herrman, of Salina, Kan. Herrman is a graduate of Salina Central High School and Johnson County Community College in Salina. She graduated with a degree in fashion merchandising from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Currently Herrman is the store manager for Gymboree Clothing in Milford, Conn. The future groom is the son of Lori and Mike Appel, of Socorro. Appel is a graduate of Socorro High School and Fort Scott Junior College. From the University of Bridgeport, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in human servides and a master's degree in counseling, specializing in college student personnel. Appel is now director of facilities and assistant baseball coach at the University of Bridgeport. The couple plans to wed on June 14, at Sunset Park in Salina, Kan.
