Pattersons celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Lucy and Mickey Patterson recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 21.

Lucy and Mickey were both raised in Socorro and many of their relatives still live in the area.

In 1958, Lucy Gallegos married Mickey Patterson in Socorro. In 1959, the couple moved to Albuquerque, where they still reside.

The Pattersons have four children: Mike Patterson, of Socorro; Richard Patterson, of Rio Rancho; Diane Tavasci, of Los Lunas; and Elaine Patterson, of Albuqerque. The couple also has 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
