"Día Del Niño," 11 a.m. El Camino Real International Heritage Center. A celebration of Mexico's Day of the Child will feature story telling, piñata breaking, arts and crafts, and folklorico dance performance by students of Arrey Schools. Susan Reynolds will speak on "Walking New Mexico" at 11 a.m. She is walking the back roads of the Camino Real and Jornada del Muerto along with the Turquoise Trail. Reynolds will share a slide-show presentation of her journey. Also included is a presentation by the Buffalo Soldiers and a Living History display. "Flowers that bloom in the spring, tra la," 8-11 a.m. Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. This walk will be led by naturalist Bob Merkel on and near the Canyon Trail. It is a moderate 2-1/2-mile walk and each area has its own assortment of scenic features and plant life. Bring water, sun protection ,hiking shoes, a camera and bug spray.
