Three people were arrested last weekend in separate drug-related incidents.

Llewellyn Fraissinet, 46, of Socorro, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of meth, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Anne Marie Landavazo, 30, of Socorro, is charged with one count of trafficking meth.

When the officer got into the apartment, they found both women as well as a child.

According to the complaint, officers found what appeared to be meth in the bedroom where Fraissinet was found. A scale was also found in the house.

In the living roomwas foil and a straw, as well as a device to crush marijuana.

Landavaso gave permission for officers to search her vehicle, which she said belonged to an ex-boyfriend.

According to the complaint, officers found a plastic bag with what appeared to be meth inside.

The officers stopped the search and sealed the vehicle until a search warrant could be obtained.

After a warrant was obtained, the officers again searched the vehicle. The meth found behind the glove box weighed 34.2 grams. A second package of meth found in the vehicle weighed 5.4 grams. Landavazo denied any knowledge of the drugs.

Both women were arrested.

Landavazo also posted a $5,000 cash or surety bond and is also scheduled for a first appearance on June 30.

In an unrelated incident, Ismael Chavez, 26, of Lemitar, was arrested June 14 for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Officer Richard Lopez learned of possible drug activity taking place near Newberry Road at the gravel pit.

When he got there, Lopez saw two vehicles. He saw a woman run from the driver's side of one vehicle to the passenger side of the other.

The officer recognized a man in one of the vehicle's, a pickup truck, as Ernesto Olivas, 25, of Socorro, who had an arrest order from Magistrate Court.

According to the complaint, as the officer approached the vehicle, it appeared as though Olivas handed something to another man in the vehicle, later identified as Chavez.

The complaint said Lopez saw a clear plastic bag on the floorboard and then a second bag with a white, powdery residue on it that appeared to be cocaine.

The officer had Chavez exit the vehicle.

Chavez was placed under arrest. During a search, a folded dollar bill was found in his pocket that contained a white, powdery substance. The substance tested positive for cocaine.

Chavez was released into the custody of a third party from the Socorro County Detention Center. No court date has been set for him.
