Despite a mid-afternoon rainstorm, Magdalena’s Second Annual Frontier Festival last Saturday went off without a hitch. The day featured demonstrations of pioneer life skills, including blacksmithing, wood carving and Dutch oven cooking, as well as a chuck wagon lunch and several activities for kids of all ages.
