Cibola National Forest

The Cibola National Forest has released the Draft Land Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement on Friday, Aug. 9, which starts the official 90-day public comment period. The 90-day comment period will end on November 7 at midnight.

An open house meeting to discuss the Draft Plan and draft of the Environmental Impact Statement will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Magdalena Schools’ Fine Arts Center, from 5-7 p.m.

Maps and other planning materials will be available for review and Forest Service personnel will be present to answer questions.

Magdalena Schools’ Fine Arts Center is located at 201 Duggins Drive in Magdalena.
