Tony the Tumbleweed Snowman is making his enchanting debut once again this holiday season on Cuba Road at Jerry’s Auto Body. Jerry Gutierrez, affectionately known as the “Jack of All Trades,” has proudly upheld a cherished family tradition started by his grandfather, Tony Gutierrez.

For over a decade, he has brought joy to the community by crafting a whimsical tumbleweed snowman each Christmas.

“He (Tony) would make tinier versions of him and from there Jerry carried on the tradition. He always has had a love for Christmas and spreading Christmas joy amongst others and to see him light up over Tony the tumbleweed snowman and the joy it brings to our hometown, it warms my heart,” Marissa West, Jerry’s girlfriend, said.

According to West, the 15-foot sculpture took them over a month from start to finish this year.

“It was an honor to be a part of the whole process. I helped with finding the tumbleweeds, painting, and trimming. It was an absolute blast,” West said.

The enchanting snowman will remain up for visitors throughout the entire month of December.

Families and children are encouraged to stop by and capture memorable photos with Tony the Tumbleweed Snowman.
