THE SOCORRO POLICE Department picked up two suspects and turned them over to the juvenile officer, Ed Baca. Charges have been filed against them by Mrs. Damian Padilla, Jr. She reported that the two young men reached into her parked car and tried to take the purse she left on the seat away from her young daughter. One of the suspects who is 17 years of age was involved in a series of breaking and entering a few months ago on School of Mines Road.
