His maternal grandparents are Roberto and Esmeralda Armijo (San Antonio) and his paternal grandparents are Tanya Torres and Gilbert Santillanes (Los Lunas) and George Gonzales (Socorro). His great grandfather is Felix Torres (Socorro).
