SHS Lady Warriors basketball

The Lady Warriors are 3-22 for the season and fourth in their district at 0-5. 

2/10 V at Hot Springs, district: L 52-34.

2/12 V at Hatch, district: L 53-43.

2/13 or 14 JV at Hatch for two district games.

2/17 V at home vs. Hot Springs, district. L 62-37.

2/19 V at home vs. Cobre, district, 5:30 p.m. Senior Night.

2/20 JV at Magdalena Tournament, starts at 8 a.m.

SHS Warriors basketball

The Warriors are now 6-16 for the season and third place in their district at 2-3.

2/10 V at Hot Springs, L 61-48.

“We played T or C last night and had a great three quarters, and then gave it away in the fourth,” Head Coach Tim Townsend said.

2/12 V at Hatch, W 62-39.

2/13 or 14 JV at Hatch for two district games.

2/17 V at home vs. Hot Springs. L 48-34.

2/19 V at home vs. Cobre, 7 p.m. Senior Night.

2/20 JV at Magdalena Tournament, starts at 8 a.m.

NMT men’s rugby team 

Feb. 14: Motley Games at Bullhead Park in Albuquerque.

Feb. 21: Zia 7’s at the NMT Athletic Field. NMT will face UTEP in three 7’s matches betweenrounds of the women’s Zia 7’s tournament. Their first match will be at about 10:20 a.m.

Feb. 28: Yellow Rose 7’s at Cullen Park in Houston, Texas.

March 14: Battle of the Rio Grande 7’s at the NMT Athletic Field.

March 28: Conchas 7’s in El Paso, Texas.

April 4: High Peaks 7’s at the NMT Athletic Field.

April 11: Tornado Alley 7’s at the OU Rugby Pitch in Norman, OK.

April 24: National Collegiate Rugby Championships in Maryland.

NMT women’s rugby team

Feb. 21: Zia 7’s at the NMT Athletic Field, play begins at 9 a.m., last match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. The tournament includes three rounds of pool play and then a championship round.

March 8: at the University of Denver.

March 14: Battle of the Rio Grande 7’s at the NMT Athletic Field.

April 4: qualifier at Greeley, CO.

April 24: National Collegiate Rugby Championships in Maryland.
