The "Run for the Warriors" Community 5K fundraiser put on by the Socorro Striders and Riders and the SHSXC and SMSXC teams on Friday, Oct. 3. Over 60 community members participated to help support the Socorro cross country teams.

The Socorro Stampede cross country meet took place on Friday, Oct. 3, at the Socorro Sports Complex and Rodeo Grounds. Socorro, Alamo, and several other schools from throughout the state competed on a warm and sunny day.

The Somos Unidos Foundation offered a soccer clinic in Socorro on Wednesday, Oct. 1. Players from the New Mexico United team came down and taught our young soccer players some skills.

SHS Lady Warriors varsity team at home versus Bosque on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Bosque won this match 3-0.

The Socorro Warriors soccer team playing at home against Hatch Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The Warriors took the game into overtime, but lost the game 4-3 in the end.

Socorro Lady Warriors C team versus Bosque on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The C team won this mathc 2-0, and the JV team also beat Bosque 2-0 right after.

The SMS Lady Braves 7th grade team played Estancia at home on Monday, Sept. 29.
