SUITCASE TAKEN
On Jan. 15, in the area of North California Street, a victim advised that he was checking out of the hotel and had put items into his vehicle. According to the report, the vehicle was left unlocked for a short time while the victim went into the hotel to gather more items. The victim returned and noticed items had been rummaged through, and a suitcase was missing. The victim said the theft occurred 15 minutes prior to calling the police, and the police officer was unable to identify any suspects. The victim provided a list of stolen items totaling $3,900.
STOLEN ITEMS
On Jan. 15 in the area of Manzanares, a victim said he was at the brewery on Jan.14, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. According to the report, the victim noted he was missing items from his vehicle, and the victim listed the stolen property. At this time, there are no suspects.
ITEMS TAKEN FROM CAR
On Jan. 15 in the area of Bursum Place, a victim advised that an unknown suspect entered their vehicle and took tools, jumper cables, a tire inflation device, and a DVD player. According to the report, the officer did not identify any suspects at this time.
$1,200 IN ITEMS TAKEN
On Jan. 15, in the area of Garfield, an officer was dispatched to the location. According to the report, the officer said the reporting party noticed his vehicle had been broken into, and items were stolen. The reporting party valued the items at $1,200. There are no known suspects at this time. The officer completed a police report for the reporting party.
WARRANT ARREST
On Jan. 15, in the area of Central and Spring Street, a suspect was contacted for having valid arrest warrants. According to the report, the warrants were confirmed and the suspect was arrested and later booked at the SCDC.

BB GUN DAMAGE
On Jan. 16, in the area of Manzanares Avenue, an officer responded to a report of vehicle damage caused by a BB gun. According to the report, the reporting party stated a female shot at his vehicle, breaking a window. The female denied involvement, but one charge of criminal damage to property was made against Tracy L Fowler, age 45, of Socorro.
EXCESSIVE MESSAGES
On Jan. 16, in the area of Center Street, a reporting party requested documentation regarding unwanted and excessive text messages related to a dog he had taken in. According to the report, he expressed safety concerns and was advised how to proceed if the behavior continued.
AGGRAVATED DUI
On Jan. 16, in the area of Spring Street, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing traffic violations by a suspected impaired driver. According to the report, the driver showed signs of intoxication, failed to comply with sobriety testing, and was arrested for DWI. Breath testing indicated impairment, and the driver, Mark King Keenan, age 55 of Aurora, CO, was charged with two counts of aggravated driving while under the influence (BAC .16 or higher), and two counts of driving on roadways laned for traffic. The driver was booked.
PURSE TAKEN
On Jan. 16, in the area of Eaton, a victim advised that her purse was taken from the flea market located at 1261 Frontage Road. According to the report, the victim advised that she had her social security card, debit card, EBT card, Presbyterian card, and $8,000 in cash, along with ten oxycodone pills inside the purse. The victim said she last saw her purse earlier in the day when she spilled a drink inside the purse and was drying it off. There are no suspects listed.
INTOXICATED MALE
On Jan. 16, in the area of Nicholas and Grant Streets, an officer located a suspect lying on the ground in his own vomit. According to the report, the officer noted the male was highly intoxicated. The officer called an ambulance for the male, and the male became aggressive and began challenging the officer to a fight. The assisting officers arrived along with EMS, and the suspect continued to challenge officers to fight and refused medical treatment. A friend of the male arrived and took the male home. The incident was documented.
BAG LEFT
On Jan. 16, in the area of North California Street, a caller advised that a female left a bag outside the business and did not return to pick it up. According to the report, the officer had observed the female carrying the bag earlier in the day. The bag was logged at the police department for safekeeping.
WARRANT ARREST
On Jan. 16, at John Brooks, an officer contacted a suspect for having a valid arrest warrant. According to the report, the officer confirmed the warrant at NCIC. The suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC. The suspect’s skateboard was logged for safekeeping.
WARRANT ARREST
On Jan. 16, in the area of 6th Street and North California Street, an officer contacted a suspect near Clarke Field. According to the report, the officer was able to obtain the suspect’s information and complete an NCIC check. The suspect and other suspect with him both had active arrest warrants. One suspect fled on foot and was captured, and the two suspects were processed and later booked at the SCDC. The first suspect, Alvin Begay, age 59 of Alamo, NM, was arrested for three warrants and a charge for resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
On Jan. 16, in the area of Texas Avenue, officers were called to an area for gunshots. According to the report, the officer located a vehicle with two people inside. The officer contacted the occupants on the passenger side, and while the door was open, the officer saw a glass pipe used to smoke narcotics with a white crystal substance inside. The officer detained the suspect and the female. The male suspect was advised of his rights and agreed to answer questions. The report states the male admitted to the possession of the drugs, and the officer gained consent to search the vehicle and located a shotgun. The male suspect, Matthew Thomas, age 41, of Socorro, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. Thomas was booked at SCDC, and the evidence was logged at the police department.
STOLEN PACKAGES
On Jan. 16, in the area of El Camino Real, an officer was responding to a report of stolen packages from a residence. According to the report, the reporting party stated multiple packages were taken from the front door of their residence. The reporting party advised that video footage of the incident was available.
STOLEN VEHICLE
On Jan. 17, in the area of Center Street, an officer responded to the police department regarding a report of a stolen vehicle. According to the report, the reporting party stated his vehicle was missing after staying overnight at a friend’s residence. The reporting party later located both the vehicle and the keys and advised he no longer wished to file a report.
DUI, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
On Jan. 17, in the area of North California Street, an officer responded to a report of littering involving a vehicle. According to the report, upon contact, the driver displayed signs of impairment. A DUI investigation was conducted, which indicated impairment. During the encounter and subsequent vehicle tow inventory, open alcoholic containers, two firearms, and drug-related items were located. The driver was taken into custody, and the vehicle was towed and secured pending a search warrant. The report states a search warrant was obtained, and fentanyl pills and a handgun were located along with glass pipes used to smoke narcotics. The evidence was logged, and charges were updated. The suspect, Joseph Padilla, age 46 of Albuquerque, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
ATV IN CITY LIMITS
On Jan. 18, in the area of Park Street, an officer conducted a traffic stop on an ATV within city limits. According to the report, the officer discovered that the driver had a suspended, revoked driver’s license with an arrest clause from a past DUI. The officer placed the driver under arrest, and during a search incident to arrest, the officer located a substance that was later field tested and showed a presumptive positive result for methamphetamine. The male, Ted T Sisneros, age 53 of Socorro, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three charges of driving while license was suspended or revoked, and three charges of having an off-road vehicle on the highway. Sisneros was booked into the SCDC.
SPEED VIOLATION
On Jan. 18, in the area of Highway 60 near Enterprise, a suspect was contacted for a speed violation. According to the report, during the contact the officer noted paraphernalia in the vehicle. The officer gained consent to search and located narcotics in the vehicle. The suspect, Jerodd B Denton, age 43 of Mesa, AZ, was arrested and charged with six counts of possession of a controlled substance, and three charges of speeding 16-20 mph over. Denton was booked at the SCDC and the substance was logged as evidence.
FEMALE BREAKING INTO RESIDENCE
On Jan. 20 in the area of Silva Street, officers were called to a residence for a female breaking into a residence. According to the report, the officers arrived and were advised the female suspect had been in an argument with the victim and it became physical. The victim avised he was bit and scratched by the suspect during the incident. The officer did see marks on the victim. The suspect left the home before the officers arrived. The officers located the suspect in the area and the suspect was detained. The suspect advised she was in an argument with the victim last night that went on today. The victim advised she did bite and scratch the victim because she was being choked. The officcer did not see any signs of being choked. The suspect, Madison C Jobe, age 25, of Los Ojos, NM was arrested and charged with two charges of domestic violence, and two charges of criminal damage to property of a household member, or deprivation of property of a household member. Jobe was booked at SCDC.
VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECTION
On Jan. 20, in the area of Baca Street Southwest, a victim sent an email to an officer showing a suspect attempted to contact the victim through a video call. According to the report, the victim was contacted by phone and advised the suspect tried a video call and sent email messages to the victim under a different email. The victim has a valid order of protection against the suspect that is valid until 2027. The suspect, Anthony Foss, age 43, of Socorro was charged with one violation of order of protection.
STOLEN ELECTRIC SCOOTER
On Jan. 20, in the area of Park Street, an officer was dispatched to the public library for a female wanting to file a police report on a stolen electric scooter. According to the report, the reporting party provided an officer with a security video. The officer was able to identify the suspect. Officers attempted to find the male and the scooter but were unable to. The officers did file charges for larceny. The suspect, Scott Foulenfont, age 33 of Socorro, was charged with two counts of larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit larceny.
ENTERING HOME WITHOUT PERMISSION
On Jan. 20, in the area of La Vega, a caller advised that a suspect entered their home without permission and asked for the victim. According to the report, the victim and her son exited their rooms and the suspect pushed the victim into a wall and then was removed from the home by the son of the victim. The report states while they were outside, an argument occured with the son and the suspect. The suspect left in a vehicle, and the suspect was contacted and advised the same as the victims and the caller, except that he knocked and was allowed inside of the home. No charges are filed at this time.
UNRESPONSIVE PERSON
On Jan. 20, in the area of Faulkner, an officer was dispatched to the location for an unresponsive person. According to the report, the officer arrived on scene and was advised by EMS that the individual was deceased. The officer called for OMI and after OMI was done with their investigation Noblin funeral home took possession of the individual.
WARRANT ARREST
On Jan. 20, in the area of Grant, an officer was heading to the area to conduct a follow-up on a report. According to the report, the officer noticed a female covering her face as she was walking up to other officers. The officers overheard the female give a false name to the other officer. The officer identified the female and ran her through NCIC. The return came back with a female having an active warrant out for her arrest. The officer arrested the female and later booked her in at SCDC on the warrant.
MOTOR VEHICLE TAKEN
On Jan. 21, in the area of Center Street, an officer was dispatched to a residence for a motor vehicle that had been taken. According to the report, the officer spoke with the vehicle owner who said a female had the vehicle and was not returning it. The owner advised the officer the female was told to return the vehicle and did not. The officer was given all information about the vehicle and the vehicle was entered in NCIC as a stolen motor vehicle.
SHOPLIFTER
On Jan. 21 in the area of North California, an officer was dispatched to a local business for a shoplifter. According to the report, the officer was shown video of an incident where a female shoplifts pastries by placing them into her jacket and walking out. The store employees said they did not want to file charges but did want a report on the incident.
