NMT responds to allegations
New Mexico Tech released the following statement in response to an article concerning its former president, Stephen Wells, filing a whistleblower lawsuit in which he alleges the university’s mismanagement of funds caused the loss of millions of dollars in interest:
“The Board of Regents of New Mexico Tech has referred the Complaint from former NMT President, Dr. Stephen Wells, to the law firm of Atwood, Malone, Turner & Sabin, P.A., which will vigorously defend against the allegations.
