With about 30 people in the audience, Socorro School Board candidates shared their thoughts on a variety of topics including book bans, cooperation with ICE, LGBTQ students, critical race theory, along with student academic scores, retention of teachers and technology in schools during the board forum at Loma Theater. Socorro High School Senior Illiana Perez and New Mexico Tech student and KTEK radio host David Koshkin served as moderators. Over a dozen questions were asked including those from the audience.
