A special Socorro School board meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 5, at 5:30 p.m. at the Socorro District office.
First on the agenda is a closed executive session to discuss the possible legal exposure regarding the sale of district equipment, possible legal issues in reference to district properties of Sarracino Middle School, Zimmerly School, and Socorro High School and a review of a legal claim of a current district employee and a possible legal claim of a former district employee.
According to the agenda, public comments regarding agenda items will be considered for this meeting, but no action will be taken on items presented. Derogatory comments regarding personnel or matters under litigation will not be allowed during public comment, and commentators are liable for their statements.
