Volunteers Elizabeth Hayward and Lynette Napier sell daffodils to benefit local hospice care Thursday afternoon. The annual fundraiser helps families with funeral expenses, among other costs.

Hayward said she’s been volunteering for the fundraiser for at least 20 years.

“I had a mom who was in hospice and it was such a wonderful experience, I have to keep sharing,” Hayward said.
