The Village of Magdalena held its first Independence Day Parade on Saturday to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The crowd was primarily locals, but a few visitors came from as far as Las Vegas, New Mexico to enjoy the show.
The parade included horseback riders, truck beds and trailers decked out in patriotic colors and local emergency service vehicles. Children were excited to gather candy from the streets. One parade float even threw containers of cotton candy.
