Herrera steps down as SEC general manager
Socorro Electric Cooperative (SEC) General Manager Joseph Herrera resigned Monday from his position to pursue other interests. He has been with the co-op for 13 years.
The press release stated his last day with SEC will be Friday, September 6.
The co-op indicated they will be conducting a national search to replace him. During Herrera’s departure and the on-boarding of the new general manager, Administrative Assistant Donna Wilkins was appointed by the board to serve as the interim general manager. She has been with the co-op for 17 years.
