Socorro County Sheriff Lee Armijo has confirmed the two children from Magdalena who were reported missing have been located and are okay.
A missing children poster circulating in Socorro County said 15-year-old Thurman John Gallerito and 17-year-old Gladys R. Thurman have been missing since September 1.
Armijo said his agency was contacted by Mescalero law enforcement to assist in looking for the children in Alamo. During the search, community members reported the children had already left the area. The children were ultimately located in San Acacia Friday evening.
