POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – Cyrus Ganadonegro, 37, of Socorro, was arrested on three outstanding warrants and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, at 10 a.m. on October 26.
DOG ATTACK – Police were called to a home on Second Street for a report of male victim being attacked by a dog. The victim was being treated by EMS as he had several lacerations to the leg and neck area. A witness advised she and the victim were in the home while their children were playing outside. The children began screaming, the victim and witness went outside and saw the suspicious dog attacking their dog that was chained up. The victim tried separating the dogs but was attacked by the suspicious dog. The victim was taken to taken to Socorro General Hospital for medical treatment.
JUVENILES CHARGED – Two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, were charged with burglary after breaking into a business at 508 Highway 85, Socorro at 9 p.m. on October 28. The one juvenile had cut off an ankle monitor and was taken to a juvenile detention center while the other was released to a guardian.
WARRANT - Lindsay M. Conzales, 26, was taken into custody after she trespassed on Walmart property and had an active warrant. She was taken to the Socorro County Detention Center on October 29.
MULTIPLE WARRANTS – Socorro County Sheriff’s Department requested Socorro Police Department help to arrest Cody L. Fivecoat, 41, of Socorro, was wanted on multiple warrants. Police located Fivecoat at 3:17 p.m., October 29 on Spring Street and took him into custody. Besides the warrants he was charged with three counts of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. He was booked into the Socorro County Detention Center.
HEALTH CARE ASSAULT – Adrian Marthell, 43, of Magdalena, was charged on October 30, for threatening staff at Socorro General Hospital. According to the report, Marthell was given his medication and then he spit his medication out and lunched at a member of the hospital’s staff. He was charged with assault on a health care personnel member.
AGGRAVATED DRIVING – Langdon Wolf Taylor, 23, of Socorro was charged with three counts each of aggravated driving while under the influence of a blood alcohol content of .16 or higher, no driver’s license and no proof insurance after an accident was reported at 2:30 p.m., October 31, at 913 N. California Street. He was arrested and booked into the Socorro County Detention Center.
