WARRANT ARREST AT PROBATION OFFICE

Officers were called to the probation and parole office for a suspect with a warrant at 116 Mechem on July 16. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked at SCDC.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Officers were called to a home for a domestic dispute on July 16 at 804 Padilla. The officer met with a female victim who advised that the suspect was arguing and threatening her boyfriend. When the victim arrived home, the suspect head-butted her and threatened her with a knife. The victim advised that the knife was not open during the threat. The officer arrested the suspect, Carlos Matthew Trujillo, age 22, and booked him at SCDC on one charge of domestic violence, battery, aggravated.

WARRANT ARREST

A suspect was contacted in the area of Manzanares on July 16 for having an arrest warrant. The arrest warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC.

SLEEPING MALE HAD A WARRANT

Officers were called to the scene of a male sleeping near a business at 308 California on July 17. The suspect was contacted, and an NCIC check was completed. The suspect had a valid arrest warrant, and the suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC.

WARRANT ARREST

A suspect was contacted at a residence at 134 Molina Rd on July 17 for having a valid arrest warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC.

DRUGS FOUND IN HOTEL ROOM

A caller advised officers that drugs were located in a hotel room on July 17 at 1040 N California St. The caller advised the room was rented by a male, but the renter’s information was not complete, and he could not be identified. The officer took possession of the drugs and logged them as evidence for destruction.

WARRANT ARREST

The officer contacted the suspect at a residence at 400 Manzanares Space 12 on July 17, the officer confirmed the warrant, and the suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC.

WARRANT ARREST AT PROBATION & PAROLE OFFICE

Officers were called to the probation and parole office for a suspect with an arrest warrant on July 18. The officer was provided with the arrest warrant, and the suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC.

IRS ISSUE

A caller on July 18 at 401 Eastwood Loop advised that she received a letter from the IRS stating that the caller owed money. The caller contacted the IRS and informed them that the caller received the letter, but the middle initial on the name was different. The staff at the IRS advised that they had made a mistake and would fix the issue, but the caller requested that the incident be documented.

THREATS MADE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA

A parent in the area of 407 Center St advised officers on July 18 that her son was being harassed by a group of males with whom he had been in altercations. The parent advised that the other juveniles were making threats to shoot her son and cause him great bodily harm through social media posts. The officer was shown the social media posts, which showed images of guns and typed out threats. The officer documented the incident.

FENTANYL FOUND IN CAR, BACKPACK

In the area of the Plaza on July 18, an officer was provided with information that a suspect had narcotics at a motel. The officer witnessed a female pick up the suspect at the motel. The officer stopped the vehicle and obtained consent from the driver to search the vehicle. The officer located fentanyl pills in the center console. The suspect denied the allegation, the officer arrested the suspect and took the pills as evidence. A search warrant was completed on a backpack that the suspect had. The officer located more fentanyl pills in the backpack with methamphetamine and a gun, and money. Charges will be updated.

ARREST WARRANT

On July 18, at the South Circle K, a suspect was contacted for having an arrest warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and the suspect was arrested and booked at SCDC.

BEER CANS IN BACK SEAT

In the area of Spring St. and Central on July 19 officers contacted a suspect on a traffic stop. During the contact, the officer noted an odor of alcoholic beverages. The officer also noticed there were beer cans in the back seat area of the vehicle. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle and perform field sobriety tests, during which the officer did see several clues. The suspect admitted to drinking a beer earlier. The driver was arrested and advised of the implied consent warning. The driver agreed to a breath test, and provided two samples with the results being .03 and .03. The driver was released and advised that charges would be filed.

SUSPECT POINTS SHOTGUN AT MAN CUTTING WEEDS

Officers were called to a scene at 1406 El Camino on July 21 for a suspect pointing a firearm at a victim who was working on the street. The officer met with the victim, who advised that he was cutting weeds on the side of the roadway when the suspect exited his home with a shotgun and pointed it at the victim. The officer contacted the suspect, who advised that he thought the victim was on his property, and he confronted the victim with a shotgun, but did not point it at the victim. The suspect, John R. Man, age 76 of Socorro, was arrested and later booked at the SCDC on one charge of aggravated assault.
