Special County Meeting Scheduled

Socorro County Commissioners have a special meeting on Monday morning with an executive session to discuss county manager applications.

The county currently has 12 applicants, but not all have met the qualifications according to the job description. In executive session the commissioners, with the guidance of the county attorney, Adren Nance, will decide which applicants will qualify for an interview.

Questions for the interviews will be drafted by Nance and commissioners will also have an opportunity to submit questions. Interviews will be scheduled May 20^th and 21^st.

The special meeting will be held at 8 a.m. on April 22 at the County Annex Building, 198 Neel Avenue in Socorro.
