Fabriola Martinez

Fabiola Martinez, 85, a resident of Socorro, NM, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2025.

Fabiola is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Jose; and baby Francine; her parents, Antonio and Estella Gonzales; and siblings, Priscilla, Amelia, and Gilbert.

She is survived by her siblings, Donelia, Tony, Charlotte, Susan, and Michael; her children, Joseph (Debbie), Janice, Lloyd (Mary), Jonathan (Janice), Jacqueline, Jeanette (Gary), and Judy; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Joseph, Mequette, Manny, Bethany, Monique, Amanda, Chantil, Derek, Vanessa, Samantha, Alexis, Andre, Samuel, Cassaundra, Jasmine, Jonna, and Blake; as well as twenty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Fabbie was sophisticated, well-mannered, and deeply devoted as both a wife and a mother. She was a baker, a seamstress, a painter, and a devoted follower of Christ. Through her example, she taught us how to be good people. Her greatest legacy is her family, whom she loved with all her heart. She showed us how to live with love, forgiveness, and compassion.

As well as being a wife and mother, she was a successful businesswoman. She is known as the Tupperware lady in Socorro County and was the proud owner of Fabbie's Fine Footwear. Our mom was an active member of the community and San Miguel Church.

She lived a life filled with passion and laughter. Known for her intelligence, humor, and fiercely feisty spirit, she had a way of lighting up every room she entered. As the heart of our family, she carried us through life's challenges with her quick wit and infectious laughter. Her spirit—an unforgettable blend of grace and sass—will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

We will cherish all the memories we have of her, whether it be her delicious desserts, her piano playing, or her comedic timing. Our mother taught us everything, except how to live without her. She was truly a blessing to our family, and her love will remain with us always. Our family is sincerely grateful for all the heartfelt condolences from our relatives and friends.

Our mother's services will take place at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, NM, on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The rosary at 10:30am and the funeral mass at 11:00am. A celebration of life reception to follow the mass. A reception will follow the mass at the Socorro Convention Center. She will be placed to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with our dad on Monday, January 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Urnbearers are her two oldest grandchildren, Joshua Martinez and Mequette Pargas.
