Jimmy (James) Latasa 2024

Jimmy (James) Latasa, lifetime resident of Magdalena, New Mexico, passed away on April 14, 2024.

Jimmy was blessed with the ability to make beautiful music and through his music came the ability to unite people and bring joy to the world.

Jimmy was born in Magdalena, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mariano and Angelica Latasa, brothers: Mariano (Jr.) Augustine, Juan Francisco and Louis (Dina) Latasa, sisters: Theresa and Rosemary Latasa

Jimmy is survived by Lucille (Jr.) Gutierrez, Benny (Rene) Latasa, Rudy (Eileen) Latasa, sister-in-law Celia Latasa, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life was celebrated on May 10, 2024, at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena, N.M.
