Nora Key 

Nora Key (Maria Eleanor Baca) from Magdalena New Mexico, passed away peacefully in her home on December 13, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on Dec 7, 1929, in Kelly, New Mexico, the second oldest of 7 children.

Nora had many and varied interests. Dancing was her passion and she danced into her very last days. Other interests included ceramics, quilting, crochet, reading and travel and was an active member of the Socorro County Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Josephine Baca: husband, Mack Key (Thomas M. Key); daughter Laura Romero; son, Larry Orozco; and step-son, Joeseph Key.

Nora is survived by one son, John Orozco and wife Helen; stepsons, Dale Key and wife Valerie; and Kenneth Key and wife Pam; brother, Robert Baca; and sister, Beulah Aragon; and many members of extended family. Nora is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
