Robert Langdon Taylor 1976 - 2024
Robert Langdon Taylor passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 48, at his home in Socorro, New Mexico.
Beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and best friend, you are forever loved and deeply missed.
Robert was born in Arkansas on June 16th, 1976, to his loving parents, Mark and Rebecca Taylor. His glorious reign as the only child was short-lived, however; after the births of his four younger siblings Rachel, Myles, Emily, and Lindsey - all of whom he loved, protected, and terrorized, in the way only an older brother could.
Robert was born a free spirit, and he lived his life the same way. Whether it was fly-fishing crystal clear waters with friends, getting into trouble with his cousins, taking his cubs on hiking adventures, or wrangling up cute baby skunks in a bucket to show mom during her hosted dinner party - Robert always lived life the way he intended, fierce and free, the same way he cared for and loved all of the people in his life.
The weight of your loss is felt and carried across a sea of people. May the love and memories you shared with us help guide us through this mist of sorrow. And may we share your life’s stories amongst each other and to those whose stories have yet to begin. For eternity, we know you will be as you always have been, a free spirit.
Robert is survived by his life companion Misty Nolan, his seven children and stepchildren Sarah Thornton, Gage Taylor, Raven Taylor, Rhiannon Nolan, Wolf Taylor, Hailey Nolan, and Cherokee Taylor, his six grandbabies, his grandmother Shirley Braden, his father and stepmother Mark and Becky Taylor, his siblings Rachel Aniline, Myles Taylor, Emily Taylor, and Lindsey Tuttle, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his uncle Burt Taylor, uncle Glen Johnson, aunt Mary Lou Farquar and his mother Rebecca Taylor.
