A lifelong resident of Alamillo, Transito was a man of quiet strength and deep-rooted faith. He found peace in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent with loved ones and taking in the beauty of nature. He found happiness, whether hunting in the mountains, casting his line into his favorite fishing hole, or taking long rides in the mountains looking for deer and elk. His love for family gatherings was evident in his smile and his laughter, and he gave everyone he came across a fun nickname, a testament to his playful spirit.

Transito worked for the Kermagee Mines in Grants, NM, the Conservancy in Socorro for many years, and the Hemmingway Ranch in San Acacia, he loved working with his animals.

In his quieter moments, Transito found pleasure in his morning cup of coffee, watching old westerns and the excitement of Wheel of Fortune, and he was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Yet, his true richness was not in material possessions but in the boundless love and affection he shared with his family and friends.

As a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Transito’s presence brought warmth and joy to all who crossed his path. His spirit and generosity touched the hearts of many, leaving a permanent mark on the lives he touched.

As we bid farewell to our beloved Transito, let us take solace in the knowledge that his spirit lives on in the cherished memories he leaves behind. May his soul find eternal peace in the loving embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and may his legacy continue to inspire kindness and compassion in all who follow in his footsteps.
