It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor Chavez, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, who left us on September 12, 2024 at the age of 69.

Victor was a man who cherished his role as a father to three and a grandfather to eight, loving them with a boundless affection that was evident to all who knew him. His dedication to his family was unmatched, and his pride in their accomplishments was a constant source of joy for him.

A passionate outdoorsman, Victor found immense pleasure in hunting, camping, and spending time in nature. His love for these activities was only surpassed by his love for his family, and he often shared these passions with those he cared about. His stories from the great outdoors, filled with humor and wisdom, will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to hear them.

In addition to being a devoted family man, Victor was a cherished friend to many. His warmth, kindness, and readiness to lend a helping hand made him a pillar in his community. Whether as a supportive uncle, a loving cousin, or a steadfast friend, he touched many lives with his generosity and spirit.

Victor is survived by his sisters Josie and Lucy, his children, Shannon, Selena and Matthew his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Alona, Amarah, Vadim, Brandon, AJ, Ainsleigh, Asher, and wide circle of family and friends who will miss him deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Services will be held on November 2nd, 2024, 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, where we will celebrate his life and the many ways he enriched ours. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions via Zelle to: 575. 418. 7187 in Victor’s honor. Thank you for your kindness and support.

Victor’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and in the memories of the adventures he shared. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
