Letter: Another mass murder
Another mass murder by guns. And another. And another.
Changing people’s attitudes won’t stop this.
Arming more people will not stop this. That will only lead to more killings.
We need a constitutional amendment. Let’s work to that end with the following proposal.
“There is no right to have, carry, or use a weapon. The federal government, state governments, and local governments may regulate the possession, carrying, and use of weapons.”
