Letter to the editor: It’s been an honor

Editor:

To all my Family especially my wife, Citizens of Socorro County, County Employees, Commissioners present and past that served with me, Managers present and past that served with me, Attorney Nance, and Elected Officials, I just wanted to make sure I thank you all for all the help and support during my eight-year tenure as Commissioner for District 5.

It has been a very rewarding and knowledgeable experience. I have enjoyed working with all of you.

I have had the Honor of being a small part of our great County.

My last meeting was on December 17. My official last day will be December 31, 2024.

I remember what my mom used to say to us it is never goodbye just see you down the road.

I will be around and continue to help and support our County and State. You know that if you need my help at any time let me know.

I leave you with three items that have help me in my lifetime:

• If you can help someone in need please do it.

• Working together anything can be accomplished.

• Family is everything.

May all of you have a Great Holiday Season and continued Blessings.
