The Joe C. Montoya DAV Auxiliary Unit 24 would like to thank the community members who contributed to the Cash Houston Frito Pie Fundraiser. It was a great success! The generosity everyone showed was amazing and greatly appreciated. It is heartwarming to see our community come together to help our people in need. We truly have a wonderful community.

Although our DAV no longer exists in Socorro, N.M., the Joe C. Montoya DAV Auxiliary Unit 24 is still active as a standalone unit and moving forward with additional fundraising to help our Veterans and their families in need. We will be hosting a membership drive and silent auction at our community Fourth of July festival at the Socorro Sports Complex and Rodeo Arena along with a Cornhole Tournament in August. Date and location soon to come.

We look forward to visiting with everyone. Again, THANK YOU Socorro County for all your support!
