Apachito named District Player of the Year
Alamo Navajo’s Koolonna Apachito and Lady Cougars’ coach Danielle Gordon were selected to be part of the New Mexico High School Coaches Association All-Star volleyball game held on November 19 at West Mesa High School.
Gordon guided Alamo (19-7) to the final four of the state Class A volleyball tournament. Gordon served as an assistant coach for the small-school green team, and Apachito (District Player of the Year) was selected to the all-star game as an at-large player.
