Fifteen runners completed the half marathon (13.1 miles) from Tech campus to the Owl Bar in San Antonio, NM, on Nov. 15. It is also open to community members though, and several runners from town joined the NMT runners.
It’s an informal run, but volunteers did track times. Ultra-runner Mitchell McLaughlin finished first with an impressive time of 1:27:30.
“The run to the Owl Bar is a school tradition, so thank you to all of you who participated, runners and volunteers.” NMT Running Club officer Aabhushan Pokharel said.
