Saturday, Feb. 28: The Magdalena Steers earned the number one seed for their district playoffs and hosted Cliff for the fourth contest between these two teams this season. Magdalena controlled the game defensively and won 34-21 to become district champs once again, for the 13th season in a row.

Tuesday, Feb. 24: The Magdalena girls hosted the Reserve varsity team in the second round of their district tournament. Reserve beat Animas in round one to go up against Magdalena. Magdalena rolled to an easy 63-33 victory to advance to an away game against Quemado.
