The Socorro High School Cross Country team.

The Socorro High School Cross Country team is sending nine runners to the State Meet on Nov. 6 at Albuquerque Academy. The six boys qualified as a team, and three girls earned their way as individuals.

The District 3/4 3A Cross Country meet was held at NMMI’s home course in Roswell on Friday, Oct 29. The weather was ideal for running, and the course was fast (a flat, 3-loop dirt course) resulting in new season-best times across the board. Rio Sessions, Robinson Ford, and Sky Sessions earned All-District honors for their top-10 finishes.
