Socorro Lady Warriors celebrate their senior players

The Socorro softball team ended its season in May with a celebration of its three senior players, Tristen Garcia, Andrea Ochoa, and Jadah Paz.

“Our seniors have been nothing but inspirational. Our seniors are a group of strong leaders who are dedicated and great examples of hard work,” Lady Warriors softball coach Tracy Romeo said. “We will miss them, but we can’t wait to hear their future success stories.”

Garcia’s stats included a .333 batting average and 15 runs scored. Paz hit a .286 average and scored 23 runs for Socorro. Ochoa scored four runs for the Lady Warriors.

The 2024 season marked a significant stride for Socorro. The Lady Warriors, with their relentless efforts, nearly doubled their win total from the previous season and emerged victorious in three district contests.
