The Alamo XC team will have their district meet in Mescalero, NM, on Saturday, Nov. 1. The meet will take place at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Golf Course. The girls race will begin at 10 a.m., and the boys will run after.

NMT Rugby

Both teams traveled to Colorado to face Denver University on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Men’s: The men’s team played first at 11 a.m. and won their match 31-25. They finished the season undefeated and they qualified for regionals. Regionals will be in Denver on Nov. 22-23.

Women’s: The women’s team played that afternoon at 3 p.m. They lost their game 31-20, but the NMT rugby program still came away feeling positive about it.

“The women did really well. They did end up losing, but we don’t take it as a loss but an opportunity for future games to come.” Ty Caldwell of the NMT men’s rugby team said.
